Setting goals

I set a goal yesterday for all the things I was going to do that afternoon but I didn't quite get through with all of them. Maybe my sister is right, set low goals so that when you do meet them, you'll feel good about yourself. Then you can "exceed" them and make yourself feel even better. For example: reading a book for class. By setting a goal of reading four chapters a week, which can be easily done, you can finish the four chapters and then some. That will then make you feel as if you've accomplished something and since the words were small, you were justified in setting the goal at four chapters anyway.

Ahh... lowering standards regularly. All part of a days work.
